(2006 Seoul K-pop Awards: Artist of the Year, Golden Disk Awards: Album of the Year, SBS K-pop festival: Artist of the Year — that year you achieved a Grand Slam in awards and were on top. At that time you went into Japan and combined your activities in both countries. How was it then in Japan?) In 2006 we were very much loved, and like you’ve said, received lots of awards (in Korea). As you know, in December, there are lots of award events. So it’s like, one day, we received awards and cried in joy hugging each other — but by the next day would fly over to Japan where nobody knew us. Once we sang on the stairs of a local computer store in Tokyo for the passersby, as an event and also for our promotions. (Then you were Super Stars here in Korea, but in Japan started from the very below — at the same time! It’s a double life!) Yes, we started out as new artists there. In my memory… Our first TV show was a late night program that aired at 3~4am. Who watches TV at that hour? (laughs). However, we wanted at least one person to notice us. With that hope, we went forward step by step.
